Journey Through the Lens.

My mini break from blogging was much needed I must say. I’ve had a chance to step back, regroup and reevaluate my source of inspiration and why I blog.

Photographs tell a story, surge with expression and create art. Bonnie Tsang is one of my favorite photographers. I love the way she uses light to capture moments in a charming sort of way. Her photograph of a recent trip to Broder Restaurant in Portland Oregon was brilliant. I can’t explain exactly why I am so enamored with this shot.

I’ve recently purchased my first Nikon Camera. I couldn’t be more excited to really learn how to take proper photographs that have more edge, warmth and thought. Now I know what you are going to say, just because you bought a fancy camera doesn’t mean you are a photographer and you are exactly right. It takes study, practice and experience before anyone becomes a professional at anything. I never thought I would be able to capture photos such as bonnies but I’m willing to get it a go and see what happens.

Welcome to my new journey through the eyes of my lens.

Fall didn’t hit me like it usually does. It’s my favorite time of the year yet I felt kind of let down by it all. Perhaps it has something to do with all of the visa issues me and my husband is going through or all of the change happening in our life, I’m not sure.

I welcome winter and hope it will be my fall this year.

It’s a cold day in Boston. I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually started snowing.

Nutella Hot Cocoa would certainly do the trick!

morning, lady bugs.
