As the lights go bright and streets get quieter, the day of Christmas comes to a close. It wasn’t the day that we had planned but one that was perfect.

We are flying to Ireland tomorrow to continue the celebrations. Let’s hope we make it there this time.

With all of the magic in the air with the holidays and the spirit of the New Year approaching there is no better time for inner reflection.

Dear Jack posted a wonderful article on the 5 Most Common Regrets as told by those at the end of their life.

The findings weren’t extraordinary concepts yet very simple ideas. When you think about it the most important things in life are the most basic: happiness, self-awareness, balance, family and friends.

It’s something to think about.

Well hello there Monday. It’s nice to see you again.

I have only one day of work this week then it is off to Pennsylvania to spend Thanksgiving with my family.

This holiday week will be filled with lots of good food, shopping, photography experiments and time visiting friends and family. 

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I feel that it offers the best food spread…turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pie and more. I haven’t been home for Thanksgiving in many years so as you can imagine, I’m over the moon.

Ger is finishing up his music mixes for the 10 hour car ride and I am getting us all packed and ready.  In 24 hours we’ll be well on our way. Say hi if you see us!

Is anyone else excited to be driving home for the holidays?

We are doing our own little “hunt” with Bradley and hiding treats all around the house.  Then after that we are spending the afternoon with Ger’s professor for some great food and drink.
