For the Love of Food.

I’ve really been intrigued by food photography. The amount of work that goes in a shoot is incredible. There are so many factors involved that you don’t always think about. Not only do you have to work with light and balance but you need to deal with melting, wilting and sometimes even messy food.

To make a photograph beautiful is one thing but to make food look appetizing is a whole other ballgame. Once I get my head around my camera and learn the basics I might try my hand at food photography.

Speaking of food photography, I would love to go to Aran’s food styling and photography workshop in October. It’s being held in France where you will get to travel around visiting local markets and cooking with local ingredients.
